Of course, it all ended well — Biles pushed through her mystery calf injury to win gold in the team, all-around and vault finals, plus a silver in floor. But fans will finally get to hear the full story of what happened in the second part of Netflix’sSimone Biles: Rising,based on the new trailer that dropped on Thursday, Oct. 3.
In the middle of the first look at part two of the docuseries, Biles is seen telling her coach, “my calf or something just pulled all the way,” as she came off the floor mat.

Netflix announced the official premiere dates for episodes three and four of the docuseriesSimone Biles Risingwith help from the Olympic gold medalist herself!
In a funvideoshared on Netflix’s social media accounts, Biles, 27, recreated lines from the streaming giant’s popular series,Emily in Paris, which just released the first part of its highly-anticipatedfourth seasonstarring starringLily Collinson Aug. 15.
“And ever since I moved to Paris, my life has been chaotic and dramatic and complicated,” Biles said in the first clip as she sips her drink with a view of the Eiffel Tower in the distance.

And it’s why she’s felt comfortable using her voice to stand up for herself and for her teammates while the entire world watches.
“It’s important because you have to teach them to use their voices,” Biles, 27, tells PEOPLE on Aug. 6, the day after she concluded the2024 Paris Olympicswithfour more medals.

In video used to support Jordan Chiles’ bidto keep her bronze medal in the floor exercise, taken from the Netflix documentary seriesSimone Biles: Risingthat was submitted on Monday to the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland, Team USA coach Cecile Landi is seen submitting a separate inquiry — this one on behalf of Biles — but it apparently went unheard.
