A hungry wedding guest was disappointed to find there was no food left when it was their turn at the buffet. But when they addressed the issue with the catering company, they were told “it’s not our problem.”
“I essentially was told, ‘People took too much food. That’s not our problem, and we can’t get you any more,’ " the guest wrote.

A wedding guest was surprised to learn that wealthier guests were given “special” treatment at the reception — including being served “high-end wine bottles” and a “plethora more food.”
In aposton Reddit’s “Wedding Shaming” forum, the anonymous guest shared that they recently attended a family friend’s reception and were provided smaller servings of the meal and cheaper alcohol than those sitting at other tables.

A bride’s choice to have avegan wedding— including the cake — did not go over well with one of her guests.
In a post onReddit’s popular “Am I the A——?” forum, the 30-year-old bride said she and her husband, 32, are both vegans and “made it clear in advance” that the food at their wedding would be plant-based.

A wedding guest got flak for not drinking the champagne during a celebratory toast to the newlyweds.
In a recentposton Reddit’s “Am I the A——?” forum, the guest shared that they had just attended a wedding and the experience made them “immeasurably happy.” However, there was one not-so-pleasant moment during the event, they said.
But when the guest’s mother saw that they were not drinking the bubbly, she got “upset” and — with a “slightly raised voice” — told them, “It’s rude not to drink the champagne after a toast.

In a post onReddit’s “Wedding Shaming” forum, the poster explained that they went to a wedding recently where the officiant made a “rude” comment on the groom’s appearance.
The officiant’s unprofessionalism got worse near the end of the ceremony.
“He makes a comment about how it was a good thing that the groom was, ‘definitely marrying up,’ meaning that the bride was significantly better looking than the groom,” the wedding guest recalled.
