Between September 15-16, theTodayanchor, 45, will be in Fairfield, Connecticut to present the third annualBottoms Up Invitationalalongside his wife,Lindsay Czarniak. The event benefitting the Colorectal Cancer Alliance and honoring his late brother Lawrence Meadows is “going to be bigger and better than ever” in its triumphant return, Melvin exclusively tells PEOPLE.

A Virginia crane operator has picked up a big chunk of change thanks to a lucky lottery ticket he purchased at a gas station.Nicholas Foxx, of Roanoke, was recently “visiting family in Altavista when he stopped to buy an energy drink and some Virginia Lottery scratcher tickets” at A1 Mini Mart, according to a Sept. 19 news release fromVirginia Lotteryofficials.Upon scratching his “20X the Money” ticket, the crane operator learned he had purchased a $1 million winner.

Per CBS News, Fort Worth Fire Department spokesperson, Craig Trojacek, said that Dukic’s body was found with the help of the police department dive team and drones.
