President-electDonald Trumptold House Republicans that he won’t seek a third term as president — unless they find a way to make it possible.
“I suspect I won’t be running again, unless you say, ‘he’s so good, we’ve got to figure something else,’ " Trump said while addressing the House Republican Conference in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, Nov. 13. The crowd chuckled in response to his remark.

Donald Trumpsaid he “didn’t have to be” on the campaign trail touring hurricane-battered portions of North Carolina while speaking in one of the state’s hardest-hit areas nearly one month after disaster struck.
During a press conference in Swannanoa, one of the ravaged towns in western North Carolina, Trump, 78, seemingly suggested he “didn’t have to be” there to “work” that day, and that he “could have been on a beautiful beach” instead.

“Women are poorer than they were four years ago, are less healthy than they were four years ago, are less safe on the streets than they were four years ago, are more depressed and unhappy than they were four years ago, and are less optimistic and confident in the future than they were four years ago!” Trump’s post began.
He continued, “I will fix all of that, and fast, and at long last this national nightmare will be over.

Speaking at the West Palm Beach Convention Center in Florida, Trump, 78, claimed victory in the 2024 presidential election, shortly before it was confirmed that he’d won thekey state of Pennsylvania.
“Look at all those victories. Nobody expected that, nobody. So I just wanted to thank you very much for that,” Trump said in his speech after he had alsowon the swing state of Georgia.

Donald Trumpis threatening to withhold fire-fighting aid from California.
The former president, 78, addressed rally-goers in Coachella, Calif., on Saturday, Oct. 12, stating that if elected, he would deny federal disaster aid to the state unless GovernorGavin Newsomcomplies with his demands.
“We’re going to take care of our farmers, we’re going to take care of your water situation and we’ll force it down his throat and we’ll say, ‘Gavin if you don’t do it we’re not giving you any of that fire money that we send you all the time for all the forest fires that you have’,” Trump declared at the rally, according toThe Independentand clips of the event posted on social media.
