Firefighters Perform 'Unique Extrication' to Rescue Puppy Stuck in a Toy Made for Kids

On Monday, Oct. 7, two men from Goochland County Fire-Rescue were enlisted to help a local puppy, Sky, after the pet’s head became stuck in the hole of a toy made for children. The rescuers arrived to find the curious 10-month-old puppy had poked their head through a large opening of a blue kids' toy and got stuck.

Liliana Moreno and her 8-year-old daughter Daniela Moreno were last seen in May 2016 in Miami-Dade County, Fla., federal prosecutors in the Southern District of Florida said in a release. More than eight years later, authorities have arrested a suspect, 55-year-old Gustavo Alfonso Castano Restrepo,prosecutors say.

At one point, the witness told police, both men fell to the ground and Boucher allegedly began striking the victim multiple times with the golf club, the affidavit states.
