Gina Rodriguez’s life has officially been made.
The actress has added a new title to her resume as she andShaquille O’Nealjoined forces to host ABC’s new game show,Lucky 13, and while the hosting gig alone is something she “never in a million years” thought she’d do, it’s brought her closer than she imagined to the one and onlyKevin Bacon.

Jane Villanueva and Rafael Solano aren’t just endgame onscreen — they’re like family in real life.
“Justin is a sweet, sweet soul. Man, he’s a sweetie pie,” she raves ofJustin Baldoni, who played the Rafael to her Jane. “That guy is — that’s my brother forever. Forever and ever.”
Rodriguez, 40, says that “hands down” Baldoni, 40, is “the person I stay in touch with the most, for sure” out of the cast ofJane, though they’re all pretty frequently in contact.

While exclusively speaking to PEOPLE at Fox’s fall press day, the actress, who plays paramedic captain Tommy Vega, reacted to the police procedural’s cancellation after five seasons.
“Nobody wants that,” she said of the show ending. “Nobody wants to hear that their show got canceled. It’s sad. Nothing’s going to last forever, but you just hope it lasts a little longer.

Aubrey Bogacki was hospitalized after the fatal crash on Saturday, July 20, which killed 44-year-old Nathan Bogacki and two of his children, 17-year-old Emma and 13-year-old Grant, according to aGoFundMeset up on behalf of her family.
