Ice-Thas put a fresh twist on aPink Floydclassic.
On Friday, Sept. 20, the rapper and his heavy metal band Body Count teamed up withDavid Gilmourto release a new version of the rock group’s 1979 track “Comfortably Numb” from their seminal albumThe Wall.
The new rendition of the track adds haunting instrumentation from the former Pink Floyd guitarist, 78, which creates a fascinating dichotomy with Body Count’s intensity.

Ahead of his heavy metal band Body Count’s forthcoming albumMerciless, the 66-year-old rapper answered fan-submitted questions fromThe Guardian. One person asked about the band’s 1992 protest song"Cop Killer"and if he felt the “heat” and regretted releasing it.
“I never really questioned myself, but the heat came when they started sending bomb threats to Warner Bros. I threw the rock, that’s my heat,” Ice-T explained.

A recently passed Idaho Senate bill is limiting students' access to in-school medical services — unless they have parental consent.
These new protections extend to minor, non-life-threatening injuries, including those that would only require the use of a simple Band-Aid or over-the-counter headache medication.

“This legislation only reaffirms the fundamental rights of parents to access health care information and make their children’s health care decision,” it adds.
