They King, 75, and Queen, 77, have arrived in the country for a historic first tour to one of the foreign realms that have Charles as monarch and head of state. Their plane touched down in rainy Sydney, at around 8:30 p.m, local time on Oct. 18.
Charles was listed in the official court circular as having left London on Oct. 17. Camilla left separately, as she broke the 10,000 mile journey out from the U.

It was evening in Samoa when they arrived, so there was only time for one official engagement for the King — a 20-minute meeting with the Prime Minister, which took place at the airport and likely involved a brief discussion about the days ahead.

On Sunday, Sept. 8, exactly two years after Elizabethdied at Balmoral Castlein Aberdeenshire, Scotland, at age 96, the royal couple attended a church service in the village of Crathie.
The royals sat next to each other in the backseat as they traveled to the church, where they alsospent time on what would have been Queen Elizabeth’s 98th birthdayearlier this year.

Among the crowd of more than 1,000 well-wishers at the Australian War Memorial on Monday, Oct. 21, Hephner, a 9-year-old alpaca, stood out with his regal attire: a suit, bow tie and a gold crown perched atop his fluffy white head.
