A Texas woman out for her morning walk on a popular San Antonio park trail was found dead — and now police have arrested a man on charges of evading arrest and detention after being questioned in the case.
On Monday, Sept. 22, authorities found the body of a woman in a wooded area of the Salado Creek Greenway Trail near Dafoste Park in San Antonio, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Officesaid in a statement.

On Wednesday, Aug. 21, Michigan State Police (MSP) confirmed that human remains found on Dale Warner’s property were that of mother of four Dee Ann Warner, 52, of Tecumseh, Mich., who was reported missing on April 25, 2021 from her home on Munger Road in Franklin Township, Lenawee County.
Police confirmed Dee’s death has been “ruled a homicide.”

A man in Mississippi has died after being “buried under hot asphalt” in what police have called a “tragic” accident.
On Monday, Nov. 4 at around 10:30 a.m. local time, Jackson Police Department (JPD) officers were called to AJ Materials, located in the 1000 block of E. McDowell Road, Chief Joseph Wade said in a press conference shared onFacebook.
“Upon arrival, they located a individual who had been buried under a hot asphalt,” Wade told reporters of the man, who is believed to be a private contractor.

An elderly couple in Missouri died on their way to work the polls together on Election Day.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to reports of three vehicles being carried off the roadway on State Route H near Beaver Creek in Wright County at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
According to the highway patrol’spress release, the organization deployed its marine officers to the scene and received assistance from agents from the Missouri Department of Conservation and the Wight County Sheriff’s Office to begin rescue operations.
