A woman has been convicted of manslaughter over the deaths of her four young children in a house fire in London.
Deveca Rose, 30, appeared in court on Thursday, Oct. 3, after leaving her two sets of twin boys locked up at home while she went out shopping on Dec. 16, 2021. The boys were then trapped in a fire at the house in the Sutton area of south London, and died, the Metropolitan Police stated in anews release.

A mother of six has died in Missouri after being involved in a car crash while on duty as a police officer.
On Saturday, Aug. 31, at around 1:18 a.m. local time, Osage Beach police officer Phylicia Carson, 33, witnessed a vehicle traveling at high speed on U.S. 54 near Passover Road in Camden County, police Chief Todd Davis said in apress conferencethat morning.

The mother of a 6-month-old Indiana boy who was left seriously injured after beingfound with more than 50 rat bitescovering his body has been sentenced to probation, authorities said.
She was subsequently sentenced to four years in prison but was credited for the year she had already served behind bars, per the statement. A judge suspended the remaining three years and ordered Schonabaum to instead serve probation.
