A dog abandoned in a storage room has a second chance at a happy life, thanks to Oklahoma authorities.
The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office posted onFacebookon Sept. 27 that it recently found a female canine left behind in a locked storage room of a home after her owners moved away. The sheriff’s office also shared a video of when deputies found and rescued the abandoned dog.

A top education official in Oklahoma has released a video of himself praying for President-electDonald Trump, which he reportedly wants to be played in schools.
“I will now say a prayer, and to be clear students you don’t have to join. But, if you so wish, I’m gonna go ahead and pray,” Walters said in the video.

An Oklahoma family is mourning the death of their two 2-year-old children who were found dead in a car after a caretaker reportedly forgot to drop them off at daycare last week.
Local KFORreportedthat officers performing a welfare check discovered the 2-year-old twins, Ariel and Avery, unresponsive in a car that stopped on a street in a neighborhood outside Norman, Okla.

Two people have died, including an Oklahoma mom whose daughter was hospitalized, after all three were swept out to sea while visiting Hawaii.
Honolulu EMS and Ocean Safety spokesperson Shayne Enright said lifeguards swam out to the victims and used a rescue board to help bring them back to the beach, per the report.
The group was stuck in the water for 15 to 20 minutes before they were rescued, according to Shawn McGraw, who organized aGoFundMe campaignfor the victim’s family.
