Tammy Slatonhas hit a new milestone in her weight loss journey.On August 17, the1000-Lb. Sistersstar, 38, reposted a video from content creator Katlyn Foster, which shows a group of seven friends and how much each of them have lost. Each woman showed off their physical transformation as the video is paired withAndra Day’s hit song “Rise Up.”In the clip, Slaton walks into the frame revealing that she’s lost 500 lbs. The women then hold hands and raise them in the air as the clip reads, “In total we have lost 2,078 lbs.! Weight loss warriors.”After Slaton reposted the video, she added a sweet message about reaching the milestone with her friends.“Truly absolutely amazing ladies and I’m happy to call y’all all my friends,” she wrote. “I’m so proud of each and every one of y’all. Not only are you beautiful on the inside but you’re gorgeous on the outside. Never forget.”In a similar video, the group of women danced along toKendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” while celebrating their respective weight loss journeys. “When people said you would fail but you and your crew lose 2,654 lbs,” the video read. Slaton also reposted this clip, adding in the caption, “My girls my new besties.”Slaton has been fairly quiet on social media recently, but she’s maintained her goal to lose more weight. Back in December 2023, the reality star spoke to PEOPLE about losing 440 lbs., down from her highest weight of 725 lbs. before bariatric surgery in July 2022. She boasted about the accomplishments she’s had since making the life-changing transformation.“One of the big changes that I have gone through this past year is probably small to most people,” she said at the time. “But for me it was huge.”“Just being able to walk without a walker or be pushed in a wheelchair, and no oxygen. I don’t even sleep with it at night anymore,” she continued. “Then it was being able to fit in a regular vehicle, front seat, and then the belt buckle, and not have to use an extender now. Just my attitude and how happier I seem. I smile a lot more,” she added. “I value life now where before I hated it. I hated everything about life. And now, I’m just going with it.”
