A Florida mother and father have been charged with child neglect after authorities allege their two children were seen running naked in public and covered in human waste.

Deputies with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office claimed they spotted the first boy running through traffic in Wright, Fla., at around 9 a.m. on Sept. 8, according to astatement shared on Facebook. They brought the boy to safety, but alleged he was naked and covered in feces.

“OCSO Deputies and an investigator found deplorable conditions throughout the residence, as well as prescription medications within reach of a total of five children, all under the age of 12,” authorities claimed in the statement.
