A Texas Mom Vanished After a Party. Her Husband Is Now Charged with Family Violence

The husband of a missing Texas woman has been arrested and charged with assault and family violence.

Suzanne Clark Simpson has been missing since Monday, Oct. 7, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

KSAT reported, citing authorities, that she was last seen at a party on Oct. 6, which she attended with her husband before returning home.

According to Kendall County jail records, Brad Simpson was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily injury to a family member and unlawful restraint.

Villegas claimed that after learning about Suzanne’s disappearance, police were informed of an altercation at the family’s home that had possibly turned physical before she had been reported missing.

Though he did not specify if Brad is a suspect in Suzanne’s disappearance, Villegas asserted that the husband is a suspect in the alleged assault.

It is not immediately clear if Brad has entered a plea or retained an attorney.

Villegas said Brad and Suzanne have been married for around 22 years. According to her bio onNix Realty Company, Suzanne has three children with Brad and is “very involved in the school and sports activities of their children.”
