All About Amber Heard's Sister Whitney Henriquez

Amber Heard’s sister Whitney Henriquez has her back — and vice versa.

Born roughly 16 months apart, the two women are incredibly close. “She’s my best friend. She’s my partner in crime,” Amber toldThe Hollywood Reporterof Whitney in 2018.

They currently live on different continents — Amberresides in Spainwith her daughter,Oonagh Paige, and Whitney works in California — but the siblings lived close to each other for much of their lives.

TheAquamanstar, who left high school and moved to Los Angeles at 17 to pursue her dreams of acting, even moved Whitney from their childhood home in Texas to California to be closer to her.

“I made sure she graduated high school, then I put her on a plane, moved her and put her in school,” Amber toldMissbehavemagazine in 2008. “I care for my sister more than anybody else on this planet.”

Whitney also considers her big sister to be her best friend. In 2019, she praised the actress in anInstagrambirthday tribute.

“You’re the strongest, bravest, most talented and kind person I’ve ever known - and you have been from day one,” she wrote. “You’re not only my built-in best friend, you’re also my hero. I’m beyond lucky to have you in my life."

Born to Patricia Paige (née Parsons) and David Clinton Heard, Amber and Whitney grew up in Manor and Austin, Texas. Amber toldMissbehavemagazine that they were raised “in a strict Catholic environment.”

The star told the outlet that once they were old enough, she wanted Whitney to move to California to be closer to her and to broaden her horizons.

They’ve both starred in movies

Amber may be well known for her roles in box office hits such asPineapple Express(2008),Aquaman(2018) andJustice League(2017), but Whitney has also appeared on the big screen: she had a small role inNational Lampoon’sStoned Age(2007).

She works as a food and beverage manager

According to herLinkedIn, Whitney is a banquet manager at Proper Hospitality, where she has worked since 2020.

She has also worked with Langham Hotels, Tao Group and the beach hotel The Queen Mary.

Amber supported Whitney when she gave birth to her first child

“I’m the luckiest person in the world,” Whitney wrote onInstagram. “My heart is beyond full thanks to all of those who came to celebrate our little man yesterday.” She also gave special shout-outs to Amber and her friends for planning the party.

Their daughters are close in age

Just like Amber and Whitney, who were born 16 months apart, the sisters’ daughters are close in age.

In July 2021, Amberannounced that her daughter Oonaghhad been born on April 8. “She’s the beginning of the rest of my life,” the new mom wrote onInstagram.

In February 2022, Whitney and her husband, Gavin Henriquez, welcomed a daughter named Harlin Willow. “SURPRISE! I’ve been growing another human!” she wroteon Instagram. “Our perfect little girl was born just about a week ago and we couldn’t be happier!”

Whitney and Gavin also share a son, Hunter Wylde, who was born in December 2018, according to herInstagram.

After marrying in a civil ceremony at Depp’s L.A. home, Amber and the actor had asecond wedding ceremonyin the Bahamas on Feb. 7, 2015, and Whitney was one of several bridesmaids.

As one of a few dozen on the former couple’s guest list, Whitney was treated to “an amazing weekend” on Depp’s private island.

Whitney testified in Amber’s defamation trial

On May 18, 2022, Whitney testified that Depp threw a Red Bull can that hit his nurse in the back before he hit herself and Amber. Whitney also alleged that shereceived a nondisclosure agreementfollowing the incident, but she did not sign it.

Two years earlier, Amber recounted the same incident in a British court, according to theAssociated Press. Amber said she struck Depp after he had hit both her and Whitney and recalled thinking that he “was about to push [Whitney] down the stairs.”

In June 2022, the American juryfound Amber guiltyof three counts of defamation due to her 2018Washington Postop-ed claiming she was “a public figure representing domestic abuse;” in the actress' countersuit, Depp was found to havedefamed Amberon one of three claims.

Whitneycontinued to champion her sisterwith a statement onInstagram, writing: “I still stand with you, sissy. Yesterday, today and tomorrow I will always be proud of you for standing up for yourself … and for being the voice of so many who can’t speak to the things that happen behind closed doors.”

She is Amber’s biggest supporter

“Seeing this letter … was a much-needed breath of fresh air. Finally, the tides are shifting,” Whitney wrote onInstagram. “Finally! #istandwithamberheard.”
