All About Millie Bobby Brown's Massive, Single-Tier Italian Wedding Cake That Was Made on Site During the Party

On Oct. 2, the newlyweds shared images from their three-day celebration at Villa Cetinale in Italy with family and friends. One particularly glamorous shot shows their dessert.

Brown, 20, posted the candid photo to her Instagram Stories, which shows her happily slicing into a supersized single-tier cake with Bongiovi, 22. The pastry is known as a millefoglie wedding cake. It’s made with three layers of puff pastry and cream, and is topped with blackberries, raspberries and strawberries.

The final product is not just delicious — it’s literally show-stopping. Millefoglie is traditionally constructed in front of party guests. Brown and Bongiovi’s catererGalateo Ricevimenti(who also cateredKim KardashianandKanye West’s2014 wedding!) followed the tradition and built the confection in front of the stars’ loved ones, according totheir Instagram post.

For her wedding, Brown wore a custom Galia Lahav gown with intricate lace details and a removable skirt. She paired the dress with a sheer veil from Monvieve with the same lace detail, and kept her jewelry and makeup minimal. Later in the evening, she changed into a satin off-the-shoulder gown.

Bongiovi opted for an ivory tuxedo jacket, white shirt, black bow-tie and black pants for the ceremony and party.

Shortly after the nuptials in May, the groom’s fatherJon Bon Joviconfirmed his son’s marriageduring an appearance on BBC’sThe One Show.

“They’re great,” he said of the newlyweds. “They’re absolutely fantastic. It was a very small family wedding, and the bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be.”
