The Property Brothers deck the halls the moment the calendar flips from October to November.

“I mean, day one of Christmas is November 1st,”Drew told PEOPLE Nov. 12. “The moment Halloween is done, I flick a switch and all of my lights turn to Christmas.”

In the same interview, Jonathan concurred that he and his fiancée Zooey Deschanel already had their lights and tree set up — and would not be taking any criticism from the internet.

“I think those people, they just seem to worry too much,” he said. “I think people can express themselves however they want to express themselves.”
