Alyson Hanniganmight not have watched theHow I Met Your MotherspinoffHow I Met Your Father, but she has another idea for a reboot of the beloved sitcom.

“It’s like, ‘No, no, no, no kids. That’s not how it happened,' " she tells PEOPLE. “And then it starts out with, ‘We were a lot older, first of all …’ and then we can just do the show again.”
