Alyssa Milano Celebrates Son Milo's 13th Birthday: 'Now He’s My Teenager. And I Love That Guy'

Alyssa Milanois officially a mom to a teenager!

“A teenager!” Milano excitedly began her caption. “Anyone who knows Milo knows what a special person he is. For those of you who don’t know him, let me tell you a bit about him.”

Milano went on to share that her son is kind, thoughtful, a straight-A student and a two-time athletic scholar award recipient.

“He is a GREAT athlete. He plays 3 instruments. He loves animals and his family. He’s brave, always protecting and standing up for his friends and teammates,” she continued.

“Can you tell I’m proud of him? Gah!! I love him so much,” Milano added.

Milano and Bugliari also sharedaughter Elizabella, who turns 10 on Sept. 4.

Milano opened up to PEOPLE about parenting her son and daughter in 2018, noting that different kids need different types of discipline. “What works for one child doesn’t necessarily work for the other child," she said at the time.

“[With] Milo, I can just even threaten a timeout and he would [behave], whereas my daughter … my mother-in-law suggested doing the counting thing, where you go, ‘One, two … ‘ ” Milano continued. “And I don’t even know what would happen if I ever got to three, but she just looks at me and she goes, ‘Three.’ ”

Milano told PEOPLE she figured out quickly that that method wasn’t going to work on Elizabella.
