Anya Taylor-Joy's Husband Malcolm McRae Shares Sweet Note While They're Apart for Work: 'I Miss My Wife'

Anya Taylor-Joy’s husband is missing her.

On Sunday, Oct. 13, musician and actorMalcolm McRaeshared a photo of himself and Taylor-Joy, who he has beenmarried tosince April 2022, toInstagramand wrote in a caption that he simply misses theFuriosastar while the couple are apart.

“I miss my wife when we have to work in different cities and I like this photo of us from a bit ago,” McRae, 30, wrote in a caption to his post. Taylor-Joy, 28, responded to McRae’s post in a comment, in which she shared dozens of emojis showing anatomically accurate hearts. “🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀🫀,” she wrote.

Furiosastar Taylor-Joy revealed on April 2 that she and McRaesecretly marriedin New Orleans on April 1, 2022, at which hearts played into the celebration’s theme. “N.B yes, those are anatomically correct heart cakes. Yes, I am the vampire Lestat,” she wrote in a caption to herInstagram postat the time, which featured a photo of two small heart-shaped cakes placed on a plate.

The pair held aseparate weddingin Venice, Italy in October 2023, with stars like Miles Teller, Julia Garner, Cara Delevingne, Nicolas Hoult and Evan Ross in attendance. Taylor-Joy and McRae share an April 26 birthday and have shared in the past that he coincidentally proposed to Taylor-Joy while they sat together on the bench famous forits use in the 1994 movieForrest Gumpin Savannah, Georgia.

Taylor-Joy and McRae first met in March 2021 at the premiere for her Netflix seriesThe Queen’s Gambit. Days later, McRae wrote a song about his future wife titled “Really Want to See You Again.”
