Baskin-Robbins Is Giving Out a Free Ice Cream Scoop

Baskin-Robbins is working overtime to keep customers cool during the dog days of summer.

The Melt Insurance coupon is meant replace any scoops that melted too soon — but in the spirit of fun, proof of melt isn’t required, per a press release.

Waffle cones, toppings, and sundaes are excluded from discount, and the deal is limited to one per customer. It also doesn’t apply to delivery or in-store orders.

Carvel has asummer deal, too. To celebrate their 90th birthday on Aug. 19 (and National Soft Serve Day) the chain is selling soft serve ice cream for 90 cents. Customers can snag a small cup or cone of any soft serve flavor.

While Baskin-Robbins and Carvel are still celebrating summer, another ice cream chain is already looking ahead to the fall months.

Dairy Queen unveiled their stacked fall menu with a new coffee-inspired flavor and returning fan-favorites, which are available starting on Aug. 26. The caramel java chip Blizzard is the latest addition to the DQ menu. It’s made with coffee, choco-espresso crunch pieces and caramel all blended in soft serve ice cream.

DQ is also bringing back a popular autumn classic — the pumpkin pie Blizzard. The seasonal favorite combines real pumpkin pie pieces with soft serve.
