Around the time of her death, Soares had over 86,000 followers on Instagram, where she shared style and beauty updates on her life.
Though Soares was found dead after the flooding accident, her husband survived. He’s since shared social media updates mourning the loss of his wife.

In recentInstagram Stories, Lima posted photos of him and Soares and addressed her directly in Portuguese. “I don’t know what I do without you here,” read an English translation of his post from Monday, Nov. 25. “I don’t how I’m going to go on without you it’s killing me inside.”
He captioned another selfie, “I just wanted to be like this with you now.”
