Billie Eilishis planning to stay quiet about her love life in the future.
“I wish no one knew anything about my sexuality or anything about my dating life. Ever, ever, ever,” Eilish told the outlet. “And I hope that they never will again.”
“And I’m never talking about my sexuality ever again,” she added. “And I’m never talking about who I’m dating ever again.”

TheGrammywinner also shared that she didn’t intend to come out at the time, though she thought her fans already had some insight into her romantic preferences thanks to her music and other factors.
“I kind of thought, ‘Wasn’t it obvious?'” Eilish noted.

The musician, who released her third studio album titledHit Me Hard and Softin May, added that she’s still learning to navigate being a celebrity and plans to be more careful about her words in the future.
“We’re all babies. We’re all little kids growing up and learning ourselves,” Eilish said.

Eilish was previously linked toJesse Rutherfordof the alternative band The Neighbourhood in October 2022. A source previously confirmed to PEOPLE the pair dated for eight months before splitting in May, but noted they “remain good friends.”
The “Bad Guy” singer previously discussed the topic of her dating life in a 2021 interview withElle, saying, “Like, oh yeah, that’s everyone else’s business, right? No. Where’s that energy with men? I just wanted to make a song once, and then I kept making songs. I never said, ‘Hey, pay attention to my life.’ "
