The Olympics is reportedly set to have a star-studded end!

The outlet reports that the performances will take place from Los Angeles in a mix of pre-taped and live performances as part of a handover to the city that will host the 2028 Summer Olympics. Ben Winston, who has previously produced theGrammy Awards, is coordinating with French producers on the event, according to the outlet,

The alleged plan is to have theMission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Onestar swinging from atop the State de France before reaching his first destination — the stadium’s field,TMZreported.

The Olympic broadcast will then cut to a two-minute, pre-recorded segment featuring Cruise traveling to his destination in a plane as he brings the Olympic flag from France to L.A. He will then leap from the airplane and land on the Hollywood sign, according to the outlet.

The closing ceremony follows the starryopening ceremonyin Paris, which saw performances fromLady GagaandCéline Dionon July 26. While Gaga, 38, sang “Mon Truc et Plumes,“Dion, 56, performed “Hymne à L’amour"from the Eiffel Tower in her first performance since revealing herstiff-person diagnosisin December 2022.
