Bindi Irwin's Daughter Grace Meets Tiny Greater Glider in Adorable Video: 'Is She a Little Baby?'

Bindi Irwin’s daughter is making some new friends!

Powell also told Grace all about the “little webbing” that helps the species glide “from tree to tree.”

“Sharing a greater glider with our sweet daughter, Grace, at the #AustraliaZooWildlifeHospital 💚,” the couple captioned the clip.

Greater gliders, per theAustralian Conservation Foundation, were added to Australia’s list of endangered wildlife in July 2022, with their populations declining 80 percent in 20 years. Tree clearing, forest destruction, bushfires and climate change are all responsible for the marsupials being at risk, according to the ACF.

Irwin and her husbandmarriedin March 2020 and welcomed their daughter the following year, on May 25, 2021.

During a recent Q&A on the Australia Zoo YouTube channel in September, the couple responded to fans asking if they intend to have another child. At the time, Powell said that they “get asked this question a lot” and reminded fans of Irwin’s “big journey with endometriosis,” calling it an “absolute miracle” that they welcomed their daughter.

Irwin also reminded the pair’s followers that the inquiry should not be raised lightly. “And I really appreciate everybody who’s curious to see if we will have another child, but I do just want to send it out there that remember to be careful when you ask this question because you never know what’s happening in someone’s life,” she said.

Over the last three years, the Irwin-Powell crew has continued to update fans on their family life — from their latest Halloween with Gracedressing up as a giraffeto the little girl helping her dadbuild sandcastles on a beach.
