Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Join Close Friend Taylor Swift in Donating to Hurricane Relief Efforts

Blake LivelyandRyan Reynoldshave made a major donation to hurricane relief efforts after Helene and Milton devastated southeastern portions of the United States in just two weeks.

The organization thanked Lively, 37, and Reynolds, 47, for their “longtime support of Feeding America,” which they said “has had an immense impact on communities nationwide.”

“These funds will help food banks provide basic needs like water, ready to eat food and supplies to communities facing heartbreaking loss and a long recovery,” Feed America said in its statement.

They also encouraged readers to join Lively and Reynolds “if you’re able to" and donate.

News of Lively and Reynolds’ donation comes one day after Feeding America announced that the couple’s close friend Taylor Swiftdonated $5 million.

“We’re incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift,” the organization said in its statement about the music superstar, 34.

Feeding American thanked Swift “for standing with us and the movement to end hunger and helping communities in need in the wake of” Helene and Milton.

They added, “Together, we can make a real impact in supporting families as they navigate the challenges ahead.”

At least10 people have diedfrom Milton, which made landfall in Florida as aCategory 3 stormon Wednesday, Oc.t 9.

More than200 people were also killedin connection with Helene, which devastated areas in six southern states as it moved north from Florida late last month.
