Burger King Has Free Crispy Chicken Sandwiches on Saturday for National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day

Burger Kingis giving chicken lovers something to flap their wings about.

In honor of National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day on Saturday, Nov. 9, the fast food chain is offering a free Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwich with any purchase of $5 or more.

The sandwich features a crispy-breaded white meat chicken breast fillet topped with sauce, lettuce, and tomatoes, and served on a toasted potato bun.To take advantage of the promotion, customers must be members of the brand’s free loyalty program, Royal Perks. Members can activate the offer on the Burger King app orwebsite.

Popeyes is celebrating the day with free sandwiches, too. From Oct. 28 through Nov. 10, customers can pick from the new ghost pepper sandwich, the classic or spicy sandwich. The deal requires a $10 minimum purchase through the Popeyes app. Fans can do a mobile order for pick-up or delivery.

McDonald’shas two of its own deals to mark National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day: $2 McCrispy Sandwiches on Nov. 9 and $1 ten-piece Chicken McNuggets from Nov. 4 to Dec. 2. Both discounts are exclusive to ordering on the McDonald’s app.

Burger King is also looking forward to a more wildly-celebrated holiday. OnFriday, Nov. 22, the chain will release the BK Advent Calendar. It’s priced at $19.54 but comes with over $100 worth of items, according to a press release.

Burger King already teased that it will have “nods to favorite items like Chicken Fries and the Whopper, and nostalgic nods (hello, Burger King Kids Club!) to inspire unforgettable holiday memories.”

Those who choose to sign up for the loyalty program — or are already members — will also get a chance to enjoy deals in December, as Burger King has announced its “31 Days of Deals,” featuring digital exclusives like free food and $0 delivery fees with a purchase.
