Cher Announces Book Tour for Upcoming Memoir with Stops in New York City, London, San Francisco and More (Exclusive)

Cheris heading out on tour — book tour, that is!On Wednesday, Oct. 9, the legendary musician, 78, announced thebook tourfor her upcoming memoirCher: The Memoir, Part 1– which comes out Nov. 19.The tour will kick off in New York City on November 20 before stopping in Englewood, N.J.; London; Beverly Hills, Calif.; and San Francisco. Tickets for the tour go on sale on Oct. 10 at 12 p.m. ET.Cher unveiled her two-part memoir in July with the synopsis teasing that the first installment will follow “her extraordinary beginnings through childhood to meeting and marrying Sonny Bono — and reveals the highly complicated relationship that made them world-famous, but eventually drove them apart.“Cher book tour promo poster.The book is expected to showcase the singer-songwriter’s “trademark honesty and humor” and detail “how this diamond in the rough succeeded with no plan and little confidence to become the trailblazing superstar the world has been unable to ignore for more than half a century,” according to a synopsis.In November 2023, the “Believe” singerteased her bookduring an appearance onThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, in which she said the writing process was not going smoothly.“I just totally chickened out,” the singer confessed. “I didn’t put in some things that needed to be put in.
