And that means having one of the biggest stars in the world headline as musical guest. Who better to call on than one of the icons of pop?

Yes,Cherwill perform at the fashion show in October.

“It’s a woman’s world, so it’s understood that you can’t have a fashion show without the mother of fashion herself—@Cher! We’re beyond excited to announce she will officially be performing at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024. But she won’t be alone…stay tuned, more announcements are coming to round out our first-ever, all-women lineup. #VSFashionShow,” the brand wrote on Instagram on Sept. 17.

In an all-women lineup with more names to be announced, Cher will take the stage on Oct. 15 when the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returns for the first time since 2018. Taking place in Brooklyn, N.Y., the show will feature some of the brand’s most familiar faces on the runway, includingGigi Hadid,Tyra Banks, Paloma Elsesser and more.

In 2019, Victoria’s Secret announced theannual show’s cancellation. The brand was facing criticism for its lack of inclusivity on the runway and many fans hoped the announcement this year signaled that a rebrand was in the works.

In a statement shared with people earlier this year, a Victoria’s Secret brand representative hinted that the 2024 show would be more inclusive than past years.“The 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will deliver precisely what our customers have been asking for — the glamour, runway, fashion, fun, wings, entertainment — all through a powerful, modern lens reflecting who we are today,” the rep shared. “We’re thrilled to share a women-led articulation of this iconic property later this year!”
