Cheryl Hines Pointedly Shows Off Band on Ring Finger amid Husband RFK Jr.'s Alleged 'Personal Relationship' News

Cheryl Hinesis still wearing a ring on a very important finger amid her husbandRobert F. Kennedy Jr.’s alleged “personal relationship.”

On Thursday, Sept. 26, the actress was spotted entering a party for Paris Fashion Week withher daughter Catherine Rose Young, and she posed with her left hand in the air — seemingly showing off the fact that her wedding band is still on her ring finger.

Hines previously wore two bands, and now has only the smaller one.

The move comes afterHines, 59, was seen in Milan without her wedding ringjust three days after reports emerged thatNew YorkmagazinereporterOlivia Nuzzi “engaged in a personal relationship” with Kennedy, 70, during his campaign.

Hines has not publicly addressed the matter.

In a statement, a spokesperson forNew Yorkmagazine said that Nuzzi, 31, “acknowledged to the magazine’s editors” that she engaged in the relationship “while she was reporting on the campaign,” which was “a violation of the magazine’s standards around conflicts of interest and disclosures.”

“Had the magazine been aware of this relationship, she would not have continued to cover the presidential campaign,” the spokesperson said.

Nuzzi then shared a statement with PEOPLE, saying that “the nature of some communication” between herself and “a former reporting subject turned personal,” though she added that she “did not directly report on the subject nor use them as a source” during that time.

She clarified that the alleged relationship with Kennedy “was never physical but should have been disclosed to prevent the appearance of a conflict.”

A representative for Kennedy provided a statement on the matter toThe Washington Post, indicating that the politician only met Nuzzi once fora November 2023 story, “The Mind-Bending Politics of RFK Jr.’s Spoiler Campaign.”

“Mr. Kennedy only met Olivia Nuzzi once in his life for an interview she requested, which yielded a hit piece,” the representative said, per the Washington Post.

Days before the reports emerged, Hines was seen at the HBO/Max PrimetimeEmmy AwardsAfterparty at the San Vincente Bungalows on Sept. 15, anda source told PEOPLE she was enjoying herself.

“She was in good spirits sitting withJeff Garlinat theCurb Your Enthusiasmtable,” the source said.
