Chip and Joanna Gaines Make ‘Roller Skate History’ with First-Ever Competition Series,Roller Jam— See the Trailer! (Exclusive)

In the exclusive trailer above, a voice can be heard saying, “This is the biggest thing in roller skate history,” as the camera zooms in on a shiny pair of roller skates resting below a disco ball. Sparks then chimes in, “This isRoller Jam.”

The scene cuts to a montage of the different skate crews showing off their skills in their home cities. The featured teams are coming from Atlanta, Houston, Las Vegas, Nashville, New York and St. Louis.

“We’ve got the 10 best teams in America ready to battle it out, with $150 grand on the line,” Ferguson says.

Weir then says, “This show is the first time ever that roller skating is being appreciated.”

Joanna, anavid roller skater herself, notes, “The love, the connection,” as each team demonstrates their impressive choreography — from flips to spins and everything in between.

Viewers also get a glimpse of the intense training that each competitor undergoes for their routines in the show.

Along withRoller Jam, Chip and Joanna are executive producers of two additional reality shows premiering this fall on Max.

These includeSecond Chance Stage, an eight-episode talent competition series, andHuman vs. Hamster, in which “the world’s most remarkable pet hamsters go toe-to-toe with teams of humans in scaled challenges," according to a press release.
