Chrishell Stauseis reflecting on the struggles she’s overcome in life — and making the most of her current success.

While sharing a dispatch from her luxurious summer vacation in Greece, theSelling Sunsetstar, 43, opened up about experiencing homelessness as a child in anInstagrampost on Sunday, Aug. 25.

“If someone showed this to my 12 yr old self washing her hair in the river who wasn’t sure when she would get to have a place to call home again, I am not sure I could have believed it 🥹,” she began in the caption of a carousel of photos and videos from her stay at the One & Only Kéa island resort with her partnerG Flipand friendChris Appleton.

The reality star also wrote about experiencing homelessness during her childhood in Kentucky in her 2022 bookUnder Constructionand has been open about it onSelling Sunsetin the past.

Today, she donates her time to organizations that work toend homelessnessand served meals to people in need on Thanksgiving Day in 2021 with her then-boyfriendJason Oppenheim.

“Had such a great day volunteering with @thelamission who hosted such an amazing Thanksgiving for the homeless of LA today,” Stause captioned a photo onInstagramof herself and herSelling Sunsetcostar at the time. “This is a cause close to my heart and I feel like speaking on it helps dismiss the conventional stereotype some people have of who these people are.”
