Chrissy Teigen Opens Up About Aging and Seeing 'Angels': 'I See Little Silver Pieces Falling Everywhere'

Chrissy Teigenis asking her fans not to ignore signs of aging.

On Tuesday, Aug. 13, theCravingscookbook author, 38, opened up about some possible health issues on herInstagram Stories, joking about how she had ignored her blurry vision and attributed the “little silver pieces” she’d been seeing to angels.

Teigen explained she hadn’t seen her therapist in four or five weeks due toher recent travels, telling her followers, “I probably have never gone this long without seeing him.”

She added that she went to an appointment on Sunday, Aug. 11, where she told her therapist she’d been “sewing a lot and painting a lot.”

Teigen told her followers that she’d been having “a lot of eye issues” lately, and sometimes it felt like there was a “thick film” on her eyes, adding that she’d had “bleary-eyed” vision, especially in the mornings.

“I said sometimes when I blink, when I open my eyes again I see glitter… little silver pieces falling everywhere,” Teigen continued, before adding, “I told him I’ve convinced myself it’s angels.”

“I’m like ‘Yeah every time I blink and I see all these flicks of glitter, it’s an angel that’s watching me,’ " she said with a laugh.

Teigen then revealed her therapist told her to seek medical advice about her eye issues.

“He looks at me and he’s like, ‘You should probably go to the hospital [or] an eye doctor and check this out,’ " she said in a clip.

“I’m so embedded in Los Angeles, I’m like ‘Oh no my poor vision… what could be a brain tumor is angels,’ " Teigen added, telling her followers, “Anyhow the lesson here is don’t get so hippy-dippy that you mistake what are tell-tale signs of aging, vision loss, for angels.”

Teigen’s health update came after sheshowed off her surgical scarsin another clip shared on Tuesday as she and her husbandJohn Legend, 45, headed out on a date night.

Teigen said while wearing a plunging black dress, “Date night, very rare but it happens … boobies out, scars out.”

She told the camera, “Wear a body chain, it hides it, kind of,” pointing out the glittering gold accessory.

Teigen has spoken openly about her past surgeries. In January, she revealed she’sgotten a boob job three timesas she appeared onWatch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

“I’ve had a lift, a put in, a take them out. I don’t like them out,” Teigen, who first revealed shehad breast implantsin 2020, confirmed at the time.
