A Colorado man stepped up to help a driver after she became unconscious behind the wheel.
Ryan Myrick was commuting home in Lakewood on Friday, Sept. 6, when he saw a vehicle on the highway swerve “all the way over and hit the median, the diving median,” according to Fox affiliateKDVR.
An off-duty police officer on the scene “jumped out” and helped Myrick break the windows and shut off the driver’s ignition. “It had to have been a few minutes, but it seemed like it happened so fast," he told KVDR.
According to the outlets, a nurse who was on the scene also stopped to help.
