He said that researching the meaning behind the name is what sealed the deal for the new dads. “We also looked up the meaning it means ‘overseer’ and that solidified it,” he wrote.

When another fan asked how it is being a dad, Underwood said, “It’s the craziest/best feeling ever.”

“I’m so full of joy and happiness. My proudest role ever,” he continued, before sharing a sweet snap of himself sleeping with his newborn in his arms.

“That was one of the things we bonded over early in our relationship. We both wanted to be dads,” said Underwood. “But it’s been such an incredible experience for us to go through this together, and I cannot wait to watch Jordan become a dad.”
