On Aug. 7, the heir to the Jordanian throne shared the first photos of the family of three. Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa, both 30, became first-time parentswhen their daughter was bornat King Hussein Medical Center on Aug. 3.
“Heartfelt thanks to the dedicated personnel of the Royal Medical Services for their exceptional care over Rajwa and Iman during the past few days,” Crown Prince Hussein wrote onInstagramin both English and Arabic.
The carousel opened with a photo of the royal couple standing and smiling together, as Crown Prince Hussein carried Princess Iman’s carrier as she slept soundly inside. The picture appeared to be taken on the same day that they left the hospital, where Crown Prince Hussein’s pro moves buckling Princess Iman’s car seat into their vehicle and driving off mirroredPrince William’s routine in 2013 whenPrince George, now 11, was born.

The second shot showed Crown Prince Hussein proudly holding Princess Iman, snuggled up in a pink hat with a white and pink patterned blanket, while Princess Rajwa looked on with love.
Hussein and Rajwa tied the knot in aroyal weddingon June 1, 2023, that drew aniconic royal guest listincluding the Prince and Princess of Wales. Ten months later, the Royal Hashemite Court announced that Princess Rajwawas pregnantand the Jordanian royal family expanded when Princess Iman was born on Aug. 3.

“Iman, you’ve already got a hold of my heart. Our family has never been happier!,” the Queen of Jordan wrote onInstagram.
In lieu of gifts upon their daughter’s birth, Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa asked well-wishers to donate to the Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans.
