Dave Grohl's Daughter Violet Shares First Instagram Post Since Her Dad's Secret Baby Announcement

Dave Grohl’sdaughter Violetis back on Instagram.

On Wednesday, Oct. 23, the 18-year-old posted herfirst photoson the social media platform since Grohl, 55, revealed he’dwelcomed a fourth daughteroutside of his marriage to wifeJordyn Blum.

Violet donned a black bra and some silver necklaces in the snap, teaming the gothic glam look with a classic dark red lip.

She simply captioned the post, “:-)”

Violet then shared another selfie on herInstagram Stories, showing herself pouting with one eye closed as Bauhaus' “Silent Hedges” played in the background.

Grohl shares Violet and his two other daughters, Ophelia, 10, and Harper, 15, with his wife Blum, 48, whom he married in 2003.

Through the years, Grohl has spoken openly about parenthood and proudlyintroduced Violet to the stageduring Foo Fighters' performance at Glastonbury Festival in June 2023.

Performing a track from his band’s latest album,But Here We Are, Grohl said as Violet appeared on stage: “My favorite singer in the world."

“This is a song I wrote for my mother, Violet’s grandmother. This is ‘Show Me How,' " he added, before yelling, “That’s my girl!”

“I love it when you’re on stage with your daughter and you hit a bad note,” he also joked.

“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he wrote. “We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”

Asource told PEOPLEearlier this month that Blum was still “not in great shape” following the news and hasn’t been wearing her wedding ring. Grohl has also beenspotted out without his band.

The pair have not publicly addressed the state of their marriage. A rep for Grohl previously declined to comment, and Blum did not respond to previous requests for comment from PEOPLE.
