Donald Trumphosted an impromptu musical event on Monday, Oct. 14, when a gaffe-filled town hall ended with 39 minutes of quiet swaying to his favorite songs.

At an Oaks, Pa., town hall that was intended to focus on policy, Trump’s behavior became troubling as the evening progressed.

Trump, 78, struggled to answer the few questions he was asked during the Monday night event and at one point asked the crowd, “Who the hell wants to hear questions, right?” before switching gears to play music for attendees rather than discuss politics.

His behavior came hot off the heels of several days ofconfusing and aggressive statementson the campaign trail, which raised concerns about his mental acuity.

Videos shared on social mediashowed the bizarre evening unfolding. At one point, Trump mentioned Hannibal Lecter, the fictitious serial killer and cannibal fromSilence of the Lambs.

At another moment, hetold people to vote on Jan. 5. Election Day is Nov. 5.

Roughly 30 minutes intothe Q&A session, Trump gave a rambling response when asked about how he will help small businesses, talking about how his friends enjoy cooking on gas stoves and saying that hydrogen cars disfigure people.

Two people suffered medical emergencies during the Q&A segment of the event, which led to confusion about how to proceed with the scheduled programming. While the crowd waited on the first person to get medical attention, Trump asked for “Ave Maria” to play.

“While we’re waiting. So we had a beautiful evening. And I don’t know if they could get this song up quickly, but if they could work really quickly backstage while we’re waiting. ‘Ave Maria,’ " he requested, according toThe Washington Post.

When a second medical emergency happened, he asked the crowd, “Would anybody else like to faint? Please raise your hand. Let’s do it now,” before requesting “Ave Maria” again.

“Those two people who went down are patriots. We love them. And because of them, we ended up with some great music, right?” Trump said after “Ave Maria” played the second time, thePostreports. “So play ‘YMCA!’ Go ahead. Let’s go nice and loud!”

When it appeared that the Q&A would not get back on track, the moderator — South Dakota Gov.Kristi Noem— asked Trump if they should end his town hall with the walk-off song he wanted or try to take more questions from the audience.

Trump opted for music. “So Justin, how about a couple really beauties and we’ll sit down and relax,” he told one of his aides.

Her doctor wrote in the report that she “possesses the physical and mental resiliency required to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency.”

Trump, meanwhile, has repeatedly promised to share his health report but declines to do so when reporters follow up.
