Justin Timberlake’s summer scandal seemingly got a primetime call-out.
In the season 2 premiere ofElsbeth, the CBS police procedural dramedy’s main characters appeared to poke fun at the pop star’s June DWI arrest in the Hamptons.
At the top of the Oct. 17 episode, the titular character Elsbeth Tascioni (Carrie Preston) and fictional NYPD officer Kaya Blanke (Carra Patterson) are walking through Manhattan, discussing how their summer had slowed down and they hadn’t worked a notorious case recently.
“What happened to all our high-profile cases?” Tascioni, an attorney working as a consultant for the NYPD.
After Blanke responds, “Oh, they’re all in Martha’s Vineyard, Tuscany…driving drunk in Sag Harbor,” the two women share a look and a laugh before moving on to their own fictional investigation.
