Ethan Slater Shocks Fans in Viral Interaction over Ariana Grande Friendship Bracelet as They Go Instagram Official

The couple stepped out alongside the rest of theirWickedcastmates for the film’s Australian premiere in Sydney on Sunday, Nov. 3 — and Grande, 31, shared thefirst image of her and Slater, 32, together on Instagram in a carousel of photos from the event, tagging him as well.

“Is it possible for you to give this to Ari for me?” Melissa asked him, to which Slater replied, “I’m pretty sure she’s coming if you want [to give it to her], but I can do that! Do you want me to? Sure! Yeah, of course. I’m sure she’ll love it.”

“Omg Ari, I see it now … and if I speak-“one fan commentedabout Slater in a reply to the original video, whileanother said, “So glad yall see it now omggg.”

“What a sweethearttt,“a third fan chimed in asa fourth wrote, “So gentle, so kind, so pure, so handsome.”

Meanwhile,Grande arrived in style, dressed in a voluminous pink gown perfect for her character Glinda with a fitted bodice and statement sleeves, covered with a sheer fabric that featured sparkling detail and a full skirt.Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba, departed from her character’s signature green in an elegant strapless black gown that featured a striking structured skirt.

On the yellow brick carpet on the night (which honored, of course, the famousWizard of Ozyellow brick road), the duo posed alongside their costars, including Slater,Jeff Goldblum,Marissa BodeandJonathan Bailey.

Goldblum, 72, looked dapper in a brown suit featuring a long tailcoat with black lapels and green silk shirt, while Bailey, 36, opted for a white suit and yellow shirt. Bode rocked a strapless light green gown that she teamed with metallic green shoes, while Slater wore a classic black suit with a brown shirt and darker brown tie.

“Sydney, you have stolen our hearts,” Grande captioned her post on Instagram, which featured herself and Slater, who plays Boq inWicked, on the second-to-last slide.

Grande and Slater’s romance wasconfirmed in July 2023, after they met on the set ofWicked.This came afterGrande separatedfrom her now-ex-husband,Dalton Gomez, andSlater separatedfrom his now-ex-wife,Lilly Jay, with whom he shares a 2-year-old son.

According tothe Broadway vet, “There were a lot of big changes in private lives that were really happening, so it’s really hard to see people who don’t know anything about what’s happeningcommenting on it and speculating, and then getting things wrong about the people you love.”

“But, of course, it was an amazing year and a really beautiful thing,” he added of his relationship with Grande, “and I’m just really excited.”
