Fergie Shares Rare Photos of Son Axl as She Celebrates His 11th Birthday: 'Love You Beyond Words'

On Thursday, Aug. 29, the singer, 49, shared a series of photos onher Instagramin celebration of her son Axl’s 11th birthday. The proud mom included shots of Axl from throughout the year, including a sweet picture of herself and the birthday boy as they posed together outside.

Fergie also shared pictures of Axl in various soccer jerseys, bouncing in a bouncy castle and spending time at the beach.

“Happy 11th birthday, Axl Jack!” Fergie wrote in her caption. “It is so fun watching you grow in every phase of your life.”

“Seeing soccer through your eyes makes me feel like a kid again. No matter what jersey you’re wearing I’ll always be your biggest cheerleader for anything you want to do in life. I love you beyond words ♥️ ♥️.”

Fergie shares her son with exJosh Duhamel, 51.

“Thankfully, Fergie’s an amazing woman, she really is,” said Duhamel. “She’s taken Audra in. It could be much worse.”

“That’s the thing, you never know how these things are going to go. But because she’s such a kind-hearted person, she really, truly is, she only has love for Audra. I can’t believe how excited she is for us. It could be a lot worse. I’ve seen it. I’ve lived it. And thankfully we have a really civil situation.”

Writing underneath the post, Fergie made sure to send her congratulations, commenting, “I am truly happy for you guys🥰🥰 Axl can’t wait to be a big brother."

In a September interview, theTransformersstar opened up toParadeabouthow his son was responding to the newsthat he was going to get a little brother.

“He’s like, ‘Wait, now, am I going to be — You’re still going to love me, though, too, right?’ " Duhamel said of an inquisitive Axl.

“I was like, ‘Of course, I’m going to still love you.’ And he’s like, ‘I’m still going to be your firstborn son, though, right?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, you’re still the firstborn son!’ ” theShotgun Weddingactor added.

“He’s a really sweet kid. And he loves babies!” Duhamel said. “I was the same way at his age. I just have always loved babies. There’s something about them. And he’s really good with younger kids. So I think he’s going to be a great older brother.”
