A Florida man is accused of beating another man to death with golf clubs on a course in Palm Beach County.
“He’s trying to kill me,” Hiltebeitel yelled, according to the affidavit.
At one point, the witness told police, both men fell to the ground and Boucher allegedly began striking the victim multiple times with the golf club, the affidavit states.
Boucher allegedly retrieved another golf club and struck Hiltebeitel multiple times until both men fell into a pond located on the first hole, police say in the affidavit.
Once in the water, the police allege that Boucher jumped on top of Hiltebeitel and appeared to choke him. The victim eventually stopped moving, at which point Boucher allegedly grabbed another golf club and struck him several more times in the head.
Boucher then allegedly took off all of his clothes and walked away according to the affidavit. He was ultimately subdued with a taser and arrested, police reported.

Hiltebeitel was pronounced dead on scene, authorities say, after he was found in the pond. He had “deep lacerations” on his head, according to the affidavit.
“[Hiltebeitel was] such a good person, he was exciting to be with, always in a good mood, never depressed, wake up happy,” the victim’s girlfriend, Dina Lauro toldNBC 6.
