Gary Oldmanand his dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents are back.

“Season 4 opens with a bombing that detonates personal secrets, rocking the already unstable foundations of Slough House,” a synopsis confirms, with the agents' lives once again being put in danger.

“People are sent to Slough House for one of two reasons… One, they’re an absolute loser. And two, they’ve unwillingly p—– someone off,” Oldman’s Jackson Lamb says in the clip, before a car bomb goes off inside a shopping mall.

“I don’t know why you’re bothering me with all of this, shouldn’t you be out there making sure no more bombs go off?” Oldman, 66, tellsKristin Scott Thomas(Diana Taverner), as fingers are pointed at the Slow Horses amid the release of secret information.

It seems like one member of the team of MI5 agents doesn’t make it out alive, Oldman reveals when asked if he’d “consider a shower.”

“It’s a tempting offer, but I don’t think that’s appropriate right now, I mean apart from anything else, one of my team just died,” says Oldman’s character Lamb, who leads a team of agents who have ended up in rundown Slough House “due to their career-ending mistakes.”

They “frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world,” a synopsis adds.

Returning season 4 cast members also includeJack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan andJonathan Pryce.

Hugo Weaving, Joanna Scanlan, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke and James Callis join the hit series, based on Mick Herron’sSlough Housebooks, for the latest season.

Academy Award winner Oldman has spoken fondly of his disheveledSlow Horsescharacter Lamb through the years. Back in 2022, he toldDeadlinehe’d be “honored” toretire from his decades-long acting career with the role.

“You know, to be able to sort of wrap it all up playing Jackson Lamb, I would consider myself very honored and very lucky to be able to do that,” he told the outlet.

“I would never say never,” he added at the time, stating that “retirement is on the horizon,” and he would “go out with a bang” playing the role.

“Apple treated us like kings and the experience of actually doing it has been one of the best experiences I’ve had as an actor,” Oldman added of the series.
