On Sunday, Aug. 11, the supermodel, 44, posted a sweet tribute to her dad, Valdir Bündchen, in honor of Father’s Day in Brazil.

She shared a carousel of family photos onInstagramwith the heartfelt caption: “Happy Father’s Day to all fathers, but especially to my dear dad. There are no words to express how grateful I am to have you as our foundation, our guide, our example.”

She continued, “Your resilience and the way you approach life with curiosity and dedication are inspiring. Today, more than ever, I wanted to give you a big hug and tell you how much I love you. How lucky we are to have you as a father! I love you, dad!”

The first photo shows Gisele and her father posing for a selfie as she wrapped her arm around his shoulders. She opted for a fresh-faced look and a casual flannel shirt that day, while Valdir wore a simple blue T-shirt.
