Groom Reveals He's 'Deathly Allergic to Horses' While Taking Wedding Photos at Horse-Filled Pasture (Exclusive)

A bride and groom’s wedding photoshoot could have turned into a trip to the hospital.After Brianna and Marlin Ellis exchanged “I dos” on Nov. 16 in Myakka City, Florida, they planned to take couple portraits outside with their photographer, Carey Fieber. That’s when their plans suddenly changed.“The wedding took place at the groom’s family property, so when I got there and saw that they had horses in the pasture, I immediately started coming up with ideas and even shared them with the bride,” Fieber tells PEOPLE. “She was so chill and fun. She was like, ‘Heck yeah, let’s do it.’ “All was going well at the pasture until the groom forgot to mention a small detail — his life-threatening allergy to horses.“I’m actually like deathly allergic to horses,” he told Fieber about four minutes into the photoshoot, adding “I just can’t let them touch me” as he stood closely next to two white horses.Fieber says her heart dropped instantly after hearing those words.“Oh no! He thankfully didn’t have any reactions and I’m a chronic over-shooter, so I still got a handful of great shots.“Without knowing that the groom ended up being okay, commenters on TikTok worried about the outcome of the situation. “WHY DID HE WAIT,” one person questioned, with another commenting in all-caps, “NOOO.“The bride and groom may not have rode off in the sunset together, but they still got great pictures at sunset next to the horses to commemorate their marriage.
