Henry Winkleris one proud grandpa.
The actor, 79, appeared on a Wednesday, Nov. 20 episode ofThe Jennifer Hudson Showand spoke about how although he is Jewish, his family gets a Christmas tree every year to celebrate the holidays. Describing the tree as not having a “religious meaning,” Winkler shares that the decoration holds a special place in his heart because it reminds him of his grandkids.
“Almost every single ornament has something to do with one of our six and six-eighths of a grandchild,” Winkler says as he describes the tree.
“There’s one on the way coming very soon in a few weeks. But every grandchild has an ornament of some sort on that tree."

Winkler is the father of three adult children:Zoe Winkler Reinis, Max Winkler, and Jed Weitzman, from his wife Stacey’s previous marriage to Howard Weitzman. He’s also a proud grandfather of “six and three-quarters grandchildren,” as hetold PEOPLEin August: Ace, Jules and Gus, as well as India, Lulu, Frances Joan and one on the way.
“It is different, completely different than being a parent, " he said at the time of being a grandpa, “but it is filled with the same emotion… Every one of them is different. You have to approach each one completely differently.”
Although he loves his grandkids, Winkler revealed to PEOPLE in August that there areseveral rules they must follow when they spend time with him.
“Now the rules in the house, and there are a few, only a few, are the same,” he said. “When the youngest granddaughter is sleeping, there is no fighting, there is no yelling. They are in charge of their friends to keep it down. "

Wearing polos and button-ups in shades of blue, Reinis' sons Ace, Jules, and Gus smiled for a camera alongside their mom, who wore a lace and floral dress. Winkler himself wore a plaid-and-tan blazer, pink button-up, blue jeans and white sneakers for the event as he posed for snaps with his daughter.
