Hilaria Baldwin Calls Screen Time 'Such a Battle' as She Says She Prioritizes Creative Activities for Her Kids

Hilaria Baldwinisn’t a fan of too much screen time.

Speaking withVogue, the entrepreneur, 40, shared a day in her life as a mom of seven, beginning at 5 a.m. and ending around 8:30 p.m. As she discussed what her kids do after school, Hilaria noted that she doesn’t love having her kids on screens, instead preferring to have them complete creative activities.

“Screen time is such a battle for parents these days and I’m grateful for activities that bring out their creativity,” Hilaria said. “Watching them with their little conversations together warms my heart.”

“Fostering their closeness is one of my main focuses in being their mother. I hope they will always be lifelong best friends.”

Hilaria shares her seven kids —Carmen, 11,Rafael Thomas, 9,Leonardo Ángel Charles, 7,Romeo Alejandro David, 6,Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas, 3,María Lucía Victoria, 3, andIlaria Catalina Irena, 23 months, with husbandAlec Baldwin, 66. The actor is also dad to daughterIreland, 28.

In June, both Hilaria and Alec sharedInstagram postsas their familycelebrated Father’s Day together.

“Happy Father’s Day!!!” Hilaria wrote onInstagrambeneath a video of their kids waking up Alec from a mid-day snooze. In the clip, the children playfully hit him with stuffed animals while the comedian buried himself in the couch cushions.

“Accidentally let the kids into the room he was napping in (yet it was so circus epic that I stayed to film 😈)….hope all you other dads got to finish your naps 🥴,” Hilaria continued.

Hilaria signed off her post with: “Much love papas❤️.”

The30 Rockalum also posted onInstagram, sharing several photos of his kids. “Happy Father’s Day to the dads out there,” he wrote.

In May, Alec appeared on a recent episode of theOur Way with Paul Anka and Skip Bronsonpodcast and spoke withPaul Ankaand Skip Bronson aboutwhether he plans to grow his family.

“I’m the only person I know who drops four kids off at school in the morning and comes home and I still have three kids waiting for me when I get home,” Baldwin teased on the podcast.

Anka then asked if Alec and his wife would have more kids.

“Oh man, how dare you ask me that question,” the star said with a laugh. “I think I’m done.”

“I found that as I got older, work became less interesting to me. I’m interested, you know, I wanna work and I like to work. But they just don’t make that many films anymore that I think are interesting,” Baldwin continued. “Plus, we’re all older. Whatever I’ve done in the past, I try not to be duplicative of that.”
