Hilary Duff’s Husband Matthew Koma Posts Hilarious Photo of Their Baby Crying While She’s Away: ‘Got This Totally Under Control’

Hilary Duff’s husband,Matthew Koma, is adjusting to taking care of a newborn again!

On Saturday, Aug. 10, the musician, 37, shared a photo on his Instagram Stories of the couple’s 3-month-old daughter,Townes, hysterically crying, including a funny message for theLizzie McGuirealum, 36.

“Got this totally under control @hilaryduff don’t think for a second we’re missing you,” Koma wrote over a blurry photo of Townes crying.

It’s unclear where Duff was or how long she had left her husband alone on dad duty. But Koma (who is also a stepfather toDuff’s 12-year-old son Luca,whom she shares with her ex-husbandMike Comrie) provided some insight into his other daughters' recent activities.

Koma didn’t exclude his daughter Mae from the fun. “This one wants shoulder rides every day,” he wrote over a photo he shared on Aug. 10 of the 3-year-old getting a piggyback ride from him.

Although their life as a blended family of six is busy, Duff shared on theInformed Pregnancy Podcastin July that she and Koma planned the fourth edition to their family.

TheHow I Met Your Fatherstar laughed, adding, “I think I’m one of the most impulsive, thought-out people I know.”

Duff said that although Koma jokes about how hectic their life is, he too wanted another child.

“My husband loves to make it seem like I’m so crazy, I’m so nuts. I’m like, ‘Let’s make our life this mayhem, chaotic place.’ But he’s just as down as me. He’s just as crazy,” she told Berlin.

She continued, “When we decided, we’re both the same age, he’s like six months older than me, and I was really like, ‘I need to wrap my head around this. Am I done? Are we done? Because I’m fine with that, but I could go again.’ And he’s like, ‘I think I could go again.’ So we just decided we were going to do this.”

TheA Cinderella Storystar confirmed that she and Koma are now “definitely done” having kids.

“Matt got a vasectomy two weeks before I gave birth [to Townes],” she said on the podcast.
