Hoda Kotb Shares Moment She Reunites with Daughters After Returning Home from 2024 Summer Olympics

Hoda Kotbhad one happy homecoming.

TheTodayshow co-anchor returned from covering the2024 Summer Olympicsthis week, sharing video on Thursday, Aug. 8 of the sweet moment she was reunited with daughtersHaley, 7, and Hope, 4.

“Mommy!” the girls shouted with glee as they eagerly ran to see Kotb as she walked in the door.

Kotb didn’t have a chance to make it in the door before the hugs started. Haley, wearing a pink dress, got to her first, hugging Kotb, who was carrying her bag and a bouquet of yellow roses.

Hope, in a Spider-Man dress, didn’t wait for a hug before she eagerly showed her mom a water bottle in her hand. “Mom, look,” she said.

After their embraces, the mother-daughters trio headed over to the couch where they got some must-needed cuddles.

She FaceTimed them regularly, too, and on Tuesday, Aug. 6 posted a screenshot of a call between Kotb, her mother, her daughters and one special Olympian: Superstar gymnastSimone Biles.

Dressed in Team USA apparel — Haley Joy specifically wearinga leotard modeled after the ones the women’s gymnastics team wore while they were getting gold— the girls wished their mom their best.

“Hi Mommy, we love you and miss you,” they said. “Go Team USA. Go U.S.A.!”
