Ice Age 6is cooking up to be another mammoth-sized sequel.
At D23 Brazil on Friday, Nov. 8, Disney and 20th Century Animationconfirmedthat a sixthIce Agemovie is in the works.
The voice cast will see the return ofRay Romano,John Leguizamo,Queen Latifah,Denis LearyandSimon Peggfor an “all-new big screen adventure.”

The hit animated franchise began with theOscar-nominated original in 2002. (The film came from 20th Century Fox, which Disney bought in 2019.)
Its sequels wereIce Age: The Meltdown(2006),Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs(2009),Ice Age: Continental Drift(2012) andIce Age: Collision Course(2016).

In the films, Romano, 66, plays a wooly mammoth named Manny while Latifah, 54, voices his love interest, fellow wooly mammoth Ellie.
Leguizamo, 64, plays the sloth Sid, Leary is a saber-tooth tiger called Diego, 67, and Pegg, 54, is a weasel named Buck.
TheIce Agefilms and shorts are currently streaming on Disney+.
